ON DEC. 8, 2002, CAPTAIN ROBERT RHODES NELSON CAMP 1647 DEDICATED AN HEADSTONE ON JOHN SULLINS GRAVE. HE HAD BEEN LYING THERE IN AN UNMARKED GRAVE FOR OVER 70 YEARS. WITH THE HELP OF THE UNITED DAUGHTERS OF THE CONFEDERACY, THE PIONEERS HOME AND RESEARCHERS FORM SCHARLOT HALL MUSEUM WE WERE FINALY ABLE TO HONOR THIS MAN AS HE DESERVED TO BE.
